Kristin R is the founder of Gold Coast Doulas, a full-spectrum doula agency dedicated to supporting families from conception through the whirlwind of early parenting. Inspired by her own birth experiences, Kristin saw firsthand how isolating and overwhelming the perinatal journey can feel—even with medical providers by your side. She built the business she wished had existed when she became a mother, one rooted in advocacy, education, and judgment-free support.
As both a doula and maternal health advocate, Kristin is passionate about redefining what it means to be supported in birth and postpartum. She works to bust myths about who doulas serve, champion access for all birthing individuals, and normalize the idea that everyone deserves compassionate, personalized care—whether they’re planning an unmedicated birth, a cesarean, or anything in between.
