Based in Georgia, Lainey transitioned from a background in medical assisting and insurance to full-time birth advocacy after her own experience with an invalidating healthcare system.
Through her nonprofit, she works tirelessly to bridge the gap in maternal health resources, offer free birth education, and advocate for policy changes to make birthing safer and more accessible for all perinatal individuals.
